Long, long time ago, in a far, faraway land there existed a Prince. A happy Prince. A princely Prince, you see.
Adored by the gentry, appreciated by peasantry and lionized by friends, he was very helpful to everyone. Well, a helpful and happy prince, you know. Every man wants be him and every woman wants to be with him!
One day, he broke his leg while helping some fellow men to build their home. It needs a month to heal – said the doctor.
Next day, a friend came by and seen him with tears. Perplexed, he said “Come on! You never must cry!”
True. He mustn’t. He is the happy and helpful prince after all!
Still he could not but weep silently for the pain was just too much.
Well, a month passed by. The injured limb healed, said the doctor.

Newspapers declared: “There would never be again anybody like the helpful Prince who could sit besides unfortunate people at their lowest and console them such that they heal. He was divinely gifted!” Everyone nodded and clapped and went home eating a good food at his funeral. The education minister declared next year his biography will be added to the school syllabus.

A little boy, after a decade heard everything. He wept for the Happy Prince. Real tears. Real heartache, you know. He understood what happens to Happy Princes.
Yet, he then went on to become one happy and helpful Prince himself.
